eGaming 2019: the industry awards

One more year the Spanish gaming industry of hazar has gathered to celebrate the winners of the eGaming awards in its 6th edition. Year after year, the sector wants to celebrate in this way the innovation, creativity and good work of the companies involved in online gambling. Here we tell you how it happened and who the winners are.

Once again, Madrid has been the city chosen to celebrate the winners of the eGaming awards in its 6th edition.

There is no doubt that the sector has a lot to celebrate, at least in terms of economic performance, and that is that the online gaming industry continues to grow , the figures are hard-hitting. Despite the uncertainty generated by the new government , the Spaniards have not stopped playing and betting online.

According to the Yearbook of the Game in New Zealand 2019 , published by CeJuego, the gaming business council, together with the Carlos III University of Madrid, the money we have spent on online gambling has grown by 28%. They have moved more than 2,500 million euros on online platforms, which have generated 163 million euros for the state.

But the figures go far beyond what customers of online operators spend, and also earn, betting. Advertising campaigns, legal advice, technical certification and software development... etc., generate significant financial movements and investments in a very demanding industry who must know how to be up to date in terms of technological solutions.

Continuously since 2014, the eGaming awards they represent the recognition by the sector of all the people and agents whose contribution to the development and growth of online gambling in New Zealand deserves this symbolic reward. The award ceremony took place in Madrid on July 19th.
